Projects Manager - Essex - £Negotiable plus excellent benefits
This position involves managing and leading the Projects Team of our client including managing the members of the team and having overall control of all of their Implementation Projects. The role will be partially office based, with occasional customer site visits that may require overnight stays away from home. This role involves a high degree of resource planning and project management skills often working to tight deadlines and dealing with changing priorities. Even when under pressure they continue to remain in control of all projects. Where needed they will identify potential issues or problems and plan how we can prevent these. This would include meeting with customers and escalating issues to more senior people within their organisation. Previous experience of managing a team of software Application Consultants is essential as are strong Project Management skills and dealing with multiple customer projects. Essential skills include: At least 2 year?s experience of : managing a team of software Application Consultants, working to a defined implementation methodology ie. PRINCE2, resource and project planning of multiple projects, identifying training requirements and providing a plan of how to deal with these, working with a manufacturing, distribution of accounting software solutions and, identifying future resource requirements to deal with current work levels and planned increases.
